Kyo☆ (きょお☆) is a Japanese odorite with a bubbly dance style and bright smile.

History

Origin

Kyo☆ first appeared in a cover of "galaxias!!" with Okimiya, Da-alu, and Hinami in January of 2012. She posted her first solo video, "Oshiete!! Mahou no Lyric," three months later. She continued dancing with Okimiya throughout her early career forming the duo name Okyo☆.

Popularity

Kyo☆'s first video to receive widespread attention was her 2014 cover of "Oshiete!! Mahou no Lyric" which received over 17,000 views in the first week. Her early videos were frequently reposted to YouTube frequently receiving tens of thousands of views there and increasing her popularity among an overseas audience.

Her most popular video is her cover of "Natsu Koi Hanabi" which has garnered over 150,000 views on Nico Nico.

Hiatus

Kyo☆ went on hiatus from posting videos for a year and a half in 2019. She still performed in live shows during this time and made her return to Nico Nico in March 2021 with "Dadadada Tenshi."

Iconic Performance

Iconic Collaborative Projects

From her debut up until 2015 Kyo☆ frequently danced with Okimiya forming the duo group Okyo☆.

In 2014 Kyo☆ joined the existing group, Kyanys, as the purple member. With the addition of Kyo☆ the group rebranded as Kyanys☆, adding a star to the end of their name.
