<p>Usually its a mix of personal preference and to support their fellow NND ~ites. A lot of Odorite's and Utaite's are friends and in result they prefer to support their friends and use their friend's covers in their dance videos. It usually doesn't really have to do with popularltiy or anything. </p><p>The reason why they probably don't use covers for non-vocaloid songs (such as an idol group dance covers or kpop dance covers) is probably because their friends/people don't do song covers of these songs as much and in this case it is just more common/popular to dance to the original version of the song. </p>

<p>She might be, but as of right now she is 11 going on 12 so she isn't allowed to have a page. She was born in november 2005, so she won't be allowed to be considered for a page until the end of next year. </p>

<p>Hello! </p><p>We already have a statement reguarding Ririri on the Odorite Wiki Guidelines page </p><p><i>"In compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), odorites below the age of 13 (such as Ririri) will not be allowed."</i> </p><p>Since Ririri is underage she legally is not allowed to have a page on the odorite wiki. </p>

<p>Im not familiar with her, she was a danceroid right? </p><p>Did she only do dances with danceroid or did she do solo work as well? </p>

<p>I will look into the other 2 but I know 100% sweet magic was originally a vocaloid song sang by Rin, There was a PV for it and that is also why it was included in Project Diva (bc it was an original Rin song). I think Lon's song was just released at the same time with her own PV to it. </p>

<p>The song bad apple is from a videogame but the dance itself it not so It is debatable. </p><p>Sweet Magic, MAD HEAD LOVE, and Madamamagoto are all originally vocaloid songs.  </p>

<p>Do we need a videgame category? When it comes to Love Live! dance covers I feel like that would be under the anime category. The same could go for the youkai watch dance covers since that dance is originally from the anime not the videogame. </p><p>Pink Cat and Lamb would fall under the "Original Song" category (Unless we call this category JPop instead? or would that interfere with the idol category? ... ) </p>

<p>I still kinda disagree, I think we should include the history first to keep it somewhat similar to the current format and then have the rest of the information listed underneath it. </p><p>I also still do not think we should have their name meanings in the description and that we should keep them in the trivia instead. Not everyone has a meaning behind their name and something like "Aoi can also mean blue in Japanese" seems more like a trivia fact to me rather than a fact that goes in a description. </p><p>Of what I have seen, on most wiki's the name meaning always goes in the trivia section since it is more explaining the kanji of the person/character's name. </p>

<p>I also think maybe having a history on their collabortative relationships might be a good idea too, though maybe that should be its own section on their page as opposed to in the article description ( since it could be a bit lengthy). </p>

<p>I really like this idea! though I don't think etymology should be included. That is usually something that goes in the trivia section (plus not everyone might have a meaning behind their name). </p><p>I also think that history should maybe go first in the order? Since that is kind of the most important info, the other categories are more of an elaboration on the dancer. </p>

Just a video of them dancing solo (because if the dancer does not have a lot of photo's of them in their gallery they might not recognize which dancer they are if their preview video is a group dance) </p><p>Personally I am indifferent towards this, I don't really see a difference if it is an old dance or new dance. If the dancer went through a really big change ( they changed their appearance a lot, developed a totally new dance style) then that I agree the video should be of their new look. </p><p>I think Aoi is probably not the best example to use because he is more of a special case. Most odorite's on this wiki it seems did not start dancing at 13 like Aoi and have already went through puberty (/the most of puberty) so physically they won't be changing signifigantly like he is right now, which means we don't need to be concerned about their face changing a lot that we need to update their preview videos/icons. ( Using Aoi for example, If you are 13 you still are growing and going through puberty and changing so of course your apperance will change a lot, but once you hit about 18 you stop growing, which means that dancer's appearance will not change a lot after that except for maybe their hair). </p><p>Even if you changing your hair, you face does not change and can still be recognized. If a dancer lets say, dyes their hair a new color every week I really don't think we should have to go back and update their icon to their newest hair color every time its dyed. </p><p>Out of anything I think we should follow the odorite's wiki rule that if the preview is not linked to their official youtube channel, they should not have a preview at all.  We don't really want to encourage reprinting here on the wiki and if that dancer does not wish to have their videos reprinted we really should not link their preview video to a reprinted one. We could just include a message on the page like the odorite wiki saying " This dancer does not have an official youtube channel so a preview video cannot be provided" </p><p>This does bring up another question though, if a dancer does not have a youtube channel but does a collab with a dancer who does and then that dancer uploads the video of them dancing to their channel, should we link to that dance cover rather than leave the section blank? </p>

<p>I agree, though I don't quite know what they would be?... </p><p>For example, a preformance a dancer/dance group does at a convention is not an odottemita event, though a sponsored event like Jpop Summit or Odotemitta off would be. </p>

<p>I don't think that there are enough events to seperate the two so I think we should just have one "odottemita events" tab with all of the related events listed. </p><p>I will work on an example page for this now </p>
